Federal law requires employers and the outside consultants they hire to persuade employees on union elections to disclose that arrangement on a Form LM-20. LaborLab tracks every one of these filings, because workers deserve to know who is being paid, how much, and by whom to shape their organizing campaign. In this batch, four of the five filings weren’t disclosed until after the votes were already counted.
Here is the breakdown of the newest LM-20 filings and the related NLRB activity.
$350 an Hour: CACR Labor Education Services at Accel Entertainment Gaming
Accel Entertainment Gaming (IL) hired CACR Labor Education Services at $350 an hour. Despite the union-busting, workers won their election. However, it’s still important to note that the LM-20 wasn’t filed until after the tally was announced, denying workers critically important information.
$300 an Hour: The TAG Group at ALL Crane Rental of Georgia
ALL Crane Rental of Georgia (AL) hired The TAG Group at $300 an hour. The workers won their election, but again, the LM-20 wasn’t filed until after the tally was announced.
An Open Election: Healthcare Labor Solutions at Jefferson Health
Jefferson Health (PA) hired Healthcare Labor Solutions. The election remains open.
Two Cummings Group Filings, Both Disclosed After a Loss
Flowers Bakeries Sales of SoCal (CA) hired Cummings Group. The workers lost the election, and the LM-20 was filed only after the tally was announced.
Sysco Louisville (KY) also hired Cummings Group for its own campaign. The company lost that election as well, and here too, the LM-20 didn’t surface until after the tally was announced.
Workers are supposed to know who’s being paid to fight their union before they cast a ballot, not months after. LaborLab makes sure these filings see daylight regardless of when the employer gets around to disclosing them. Help us keep tracking them.
