Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, Maryland has brought in an army of labor relations consultants, often referred to as “persuaders” or “union-busters,” in response to a recent unionization drive by employees.
According to a filing with the US Department of Labor, these consultants will be tasked with managing communications, creating anti-union materials, and conducting informational sessions for both management and employees. The filing details that a total of eight consultants from five different firms have been hired, with their hourly rates reaching into the hundreds of dollars.
