Complaint Filed Against Hannam Chain for Failing to Disclose Expenses Related to Union-Busting

LaborLab, a non-profit watchdog organization, today filed a complaint against Hannam Chain USA, Inc. for failing to file their annual financial disclosures to the US Department of Labor (US DOL).

The complaint alleges that Hannam Chain entered into an agreement with RoadWarrior Productions, LLC, a union-busting firm based in Satellite Beach, FL, on July 18, 2023. However, Hannam Chain USA, Inc. has not filed the required LM-10 form, which must be filed within 90 days of the end of the fiscal year. The LM-10 requires employers to disclose their payments to “persuaders” for reportable activity. LaborLab has determined that Hannam Chain paid RoadWarrior Productions, LLC at least $29,361 for their services, according to the 2023 LM-21 filed by RoadWarrior.

“Hannam Chain’s failure to file their annual financial disclosures is a serious violation of the law,” said Bob Funk, Executive Director at LaborLab. “This information is essential for workers to know who is paying to bust their unions. We are calling on Hannam Chain to comply with the law and file their financial disclosures immediately.”

The complaint was filed with the DOL’s Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS). OLMS is responsible for investigating and enforcing compliance with the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA), which requires employers to file annual financial disclosures with the DOL.
