32 workers at Sun Chemical Corporation in Maumee, Ohio filed a petition to form a union on April 5, 2024. Sun Chemical Corporation then retained the union-busting services of LRI Consulting Services, one of the most notorious union-busting firms in the country. Anti-union consultants are being paid $425 per hour to dissuade workers from joining the union, according to contracts provided by LRI. Meanwhile, former employees frequently write that their paychecks were too small given the cost of living.
